[00:00:50] [SPEAKER_01] I want to go get laminated wherever you got laminated.

[00:00:53] [SPEAKER_00] No, good genetics and use sunscreen. I haven't tanned my face since I was 22. So, anyway, I live in Southern California. I live outside of a major metropolitan area in Southern California, and I'm an accountant by day and apparently a foot model by night. A foot what by night? A foot model. So tell us about it. Tell us about your first time. Well, at your suggestion, I'm a magnum soap.

[00:01:19] [SPEAKER_00] I've been listening to the podcast diligently, and you've talked many times about foot people and foot fetishes, and if people just go out and blah, blah, blah, blah. So I started looking it up. And so I looked up Footnight International on the web and submitted an application, said, hey, they had an event scheduled near me. So I signed up for it, and she accepted me, and so I went. I got a pedicure that day.

[00:01:44] [SPEAKER_00] I went to, you know, drove up to the event, you know, picked out my outfit, you know, decided what I was going to wear, and then went to this location that was just basically in an industrial mall, like a rented office space.

[00:01:58] [SPEAKER_01] So who were the people organizing this again? You tossed out the name of the org like we would all recognize it. What are you talking about?

[00:02:03] [SPEAKER_00] Oh, sorry. It's, I'm sorry. Footnight. Footnight International. You can get to them on footnight.com.

[00:02:08] [SPEAKER_01] And they host foot parties all over the country?

[00:02:12] [SPEAKER_00] Yeah, all over the country. You know, I'm sure that they would expand if they haven't already, but they have them all over, you know, in a lot of major cities, like once a month. And, you know, gentlemen need to be vetted. I say gentlemen just because it's open to everybody, but you just typically don't see women.

[00:02:28] [SPEAKER_01] A lot of women with a foot fetish out there.

[00:02:31] [SPEAKER_00] Right, right. Right. So then they go on and they have to be, you know, vetted, sign up, and then buy a ticket to their event. And then the models are there when they show up. And, yeah.

[00:02:42] [SPEAKER_01] So what appealed to you about going to an event and being a foot model? Was it just stepping outside your comfort zone? Was it like having an adventure? Do you like having your feet touched?

[00:02:55] [SPEAKER_00] Well, so yeah. So I don't really have a foot fetish myself. Like that's not one of my personal kinks. But I love getting a pedicure. I love getting a foot rub. And because when I looked at the website, it seemed legit. And I thought, you know, why not? I would give it a try and see how it went. And so I did. And it was really, really interesting.

[00:03:18] [SPEAKER_01] So tell us about that. I call it the through the airlock moment.

[00:03:21] [SPEAKER_00] Yeah.

[00:03:21] [SPEAKER_01] There's a moment before you've been a foot model at a foot fetish party. And there's the moment after you walk through that door to be the foot model at the foot fetish party. What was walking through that door like?

[00:03:32] [SPEAKER_00] A little bit nerve-wracking. I have my own confidence. But there's a bouncer at the door. So he checks you in. Both the models and the guests, the attendees, have to be on the list. So then they walk you in. And I met the organizer. And she sort of showed me around and sort of explained how it works out. And it's basically like a lounge area. And there are little groups of seating. It might be a booth or a couple of chairs over here and some shoji screens.

[00:04:02] [SPEAKER_00] So then you just mingle about. So it's just like this. Like I said, it's kind of like a little loungy area. But it's office space. And so then the women are just wearing whatever they want to wear. And there was definitely a variety of women that were there. Some of them are definitely professional sex workers. Like that's their full-time job. A lot of people are side hustle like me or, you know, just. Right. An adventure. Part of their kink. Part of their kink practice. Whatever it is that, you know, they're into.

[00:04:28] [SPEAKER_00] So yeah, it was really interesting because the gals that I spoke with were all really interesting and very nice. And some of them have been doing it for a long time. Some of them hadn't. Everybody had their, they had their little niche. What kind of shoes they were wearing. Who they thought that they were going to appeal to. And then, yeah, then the gentlemen start showing up and then they mill about. And I felt like it was a lot of very introverted men who were probably very socially awkward to begin with.

[00:04:55] [SPEAKER_00] And so they're going to have a hard time talking to women in a regular setting, much less get to, I want to lick your feet. You know?

[00:05:04] [SPEAKER_01] Yeah. Which is not to say that there aren't guys out there who have game, who have foot fetishes. Right. But the kind of guy who doesn't have game and has a foot fetish may be likelier to wind up at a party like this rather than negotiating his kink with women he meets out in the world. So you say the guests are the guys. Let's just call them the guys. I'm sure there were no women there who paid to get in. No. The guys are vetted for safety. How are you vetted?

[00:05:32] [SPEAKER_01] Did you have to show pictures of your feet?

[00:05:34] [SPEAKER_00] Yeah, I had to show pictures of my feet and my face. You have to fill out a little form on the website and say how you heard about it and why you want to do it, where you're going to do it. And that's really it. It's really – obviously they need people who have nice feet. She knows what people are looking for. It has a lot to do with your foot size and how willing you are to have your – if you do have to send her a picture of your face, they want to know what you look like, but that doesn't really seem to necessarily be a deterrent.

[00:06:06] [SPEAKER_00] Why do you say that? Just because there's, again, some quirky characters that are at the event.

[00:06:14] [SPEAKER_01] I guess if the guy is faced out on the floor looking at your feet, like the face card is less important. The face is pretty far away.

[00:06:22] [SPEAKER_00] One gal I know who kind of reminded me of like Patty from My Name is Earl, Patty the Daytime Hooker. She was just wearing like jeans and a flannel shirt and no makeup and she had on stinky shoes and she's like, yeah, some guys like stinky shoes and she's like, they don't care about what you're wearing or whether you have your makeup done. And so it's like, you know, here I am with my makeup done and a nice outfit. So I do like this whole like, you know, sexy little outfit thing.

[00:06:49] [SPEAKER_01] So the guys arrive and how is it that they get to interact with any individual models?

[00:06:55] [SPEAKER_00] Oh, because we're just milling about. Yeah, there's like, there's some snacks and we're just sitting in chairs or standing around. Like you're, it's kind of, this last time when I did it this last time, it reminded me of probably sort of like a brothel, but there's no sex involved. Like they have to be wearing clothes. No gray sweatpants are allowed. They can't touch themselves. So yeah, so they just mingle with the girls. And a lot of times they're looking at your feet or they'll talk to you for a minute. They'll introduce themselves. And then they ask if you would like to session. And a session is generally 10 minutes.

[00:07:24] [SPEAKER_00] And then they give you $20 for your time. And then you negotiate what they want you to do in that 10 minutes. And a lot of times they just want to press your feet to their face and lick your...

[00:07:37] [SPEAKER_01] File it away because they're definitely going to jack off about it later. Oh, absolutely.

[00:07:40] [SPEAKER_00] Absolutely. I mean, like, you know, they'll do whatever they're going to do to like maintain themselves. But, you know, nobody whips it out. The bouncer at the door. And then there's a couple of guys that are in the room that are part of the organization. They're just keeping an eye on case anybody gets out of hand. But they said that because they have to be vetted ahead of time a little bit, you know, whatever, to whatever degree she vets them. It's all very calm. So it's very quiet. And so then, yeah, you just spend time. And then if you're there and they want to spend more time with you, they'll pay you another $20. And so you just go on like that for as long as you feel like it. And you can leave whenever you want.

[00:08:11] [SPEAKER_00] Nobody's obligated to stay.

[00:08:12] [SPEAKER_01] Did it feel a little bit like waiting to get picked for the team in gym, in PE, in middle school? Did some of the girls not get picked at all?

[00:08:19] [SPEAKER_00] No. They do a good job of trying to balance it. And again, the organizer knows what the gentlemen are looking for. And then she tries to kind of match it with the models so that you have a variety. And there's one guy who has like a VIP room. So he has like a little private room. And again, he's very introverted, but he's extremely kind and very nice and very polite. Right. And he'll do a thing where he'll go around and he'll go, OK, I want five girls. And it's like, I want everybody who's got pink toenail polish on.

[00:08:46] [SPEAKER_00] And then he'll bring them all into his little VIP area and have them all put their feet on them all at once. And, you know, he's just very sweet and quirky, socially awkward.

[00:08:55] [SPEAKER_01] It's fascinating that the organizers, it makes sense that they would want to keep supply and demand in equal rough, equal balance. Right, right, right. Not to waste the time of the models. If there were like 10 times as many models as there were potential clients or guys. Right. Then, like, why would a model go back if they didn't get any private sessions, if they didn't make any money?

[00:09:17] [SPEAKER_00] Right. So, you know, it does go around and, you know, sometimes it does depend. It depends on your outfit, depends on your attitude, depends on, you know, whatever. If you, I mean, there's people who don't like my size feet. You know, they're there for somebody particularly. You know, they only want women with size seven feet. They only want, you know, whatever it is that they're looking for. So it's an interesting dynamic.

[00:09:37] [SPEAKER_01] Okay, so there was that moment where you walked in the door. There was that moment before you were a foot model where you were doing low-key sex work. And the moment that you were in the room that you'd bungee jumped. Yeah. You were in there. Yeah. What was the first session like? The first guy who came up to you asked you to, like, describe that.

[00:09:55] [SPEAKER_00] Yeah, so I was just, you know, standing there having some soda water or, you know, water, whatever it was that I was drinking at the time. And, yeah, he just came up and he introduced himself and we chatted for a little bit. He asked me if I was, you know, if I was there to model, which is ridiculous that I wouldn't be. But, you know, okay.

[00:10:11] [SPEAKER_01] I'm here for the hors d'oeuvres.

[00:10:12] [SPEAKER_00] Right, right, exactly. I'm here for the chips. But that's part of it. That's socialization. They're trying to just socialize. How would you socialize in a bar? So you have to think of it sort of like a little bit like a, you know, like a low-key bar setting, but like there's no alcohol. So, yeah, so he comes up and we chatted for just a few minutes. He asked me if I wanted to session and I said yes. And so then we just, you know, where would you like to sit? And so we just find a space that we can sit comfortably.

[00:10:39] [SPEAKER_00] I asked him what he wanted to do and he wanted to lick my feet. But I was wearing boots and he wanted to take my boots off and strip my boots off and snipped into the boot really deeply. And then, you know, he just really cherished my feet. And, you know, other guys will sit there and they just want to rub your feet. So you just sit on the couch in plain view and have somebody just rub your feet and your legs. And they're paying you to sit there and do it and chat with you. And they just want to have a conversation and rub your feet while they do it.

[00:11:05] [SPEAKER_01] I know that you said no gray sweatpants allowed. Yeah. But guys aren't dinged if they're visibly aroused, right? If they're, they got to be excited about this.

[00:11:15] [SPEAKER_00] Well, there's a lot of eye contact going on.

[00:11:18] [SPEAKER_01] You're not looking down.

[00:11:20] [SPEAKER_00] Right, right. If you haven't seen the, if you haven't seen the show, Schmigadoon, I think you recommended it.

[00:11:25] [SPEAKER_01] I love Schmigadoon. I wish I could go see it on Broadway now.

[00:11:28] [SPEAKER_00] Right. And then the second one where she did Schmigadoon and then she, she's like, ooh, $20. You just bought yourself some eye contact.

[00:11:37] [SPEAKER_01] You know, I'm thinking about the kind of guys who might go to an event like this, who may have social anxiety, who may be on the spectrum.

[00:11:44] [SPEAKER_00] Yeah.

[00:11:45] [SPEAKER_01] And I almost think if I knew a guy like that who didn't have a foot fetish, I might send him to an event like this. Right. Just to be able to socialize. Give a couple of foot rubs because you're allowed to interact with the women there. Like it's maybe less nerve wracking for the guy to practice talking to women in a room where the women, just by dint of being in that room, welcome that conversation. It doesn't mean that you have to session with anybody who wants to session with you. Right. I'm sure you're allowed to use your discretion and you can say no. Yeah.

[00:12:15] [SPEAKER_01] Yeah. I think that's a comfort level. But interacting with women probably left having interacted with, if it was their first time at a party like this, more women in the couple of hours they were there than they've interacted with in the last decade. Mm-hmm. Oh, absolutely. Absolutely. A way to build that social skill or exercise that muscle.

[00:12:35] [SPEAKER_00] Exercise that muscle for sure. And that's the way I feel. Like I feel like I'm doing them a favor. I try to chat with them, you know, as they're doing whatever they want to do to my feet. Again, mostly it's pleasurable for me. It doesn't bother me. They're not tickling. If they want to tickle, they can negotiate that. Most of them just want to, you know, sniff and lick on your feet and rub them. So that's all fine and dandy.

[00:12:56] [SPEAKER_00] But me and the other women there, we've often joked about how awkward they are, even though they know that we're there for them and we're going to say yes. We want, you know, we want to let them do whatever they want to do to our feet. They still have that hard time. So, I mean, that is a good idea for socially awkward people. But then you've mentioned on the show in the past too, you know, people who've called in saying, you know, they're down on themselves. You know, I'm fat. I'm ugly. Who's going to love me? Go to kink munches.

[00:13:25] [SPEAKER_00] That is such an accepting and there's no body shaming. It's a wonderful venue for people to be able to find love and acceptance of themselves and their kinks. You know, so yes, go to a foot fetish party, even if it's not your thing, just that you have a chance to interact with people in a safe and quiet environment.

[00:13:43] [SPEAKER_01] So I often ask people on the show what advice they would have for somebody else interested in this. You've given such, painted such a detailed portrait. I think you've given the advice. I want you to reach back into the Savage Love column archives and say something to this woman who wrote me decades ago who broke up with her boyfriend because he'd been giving her foot rubs after her job, waiting tables, putting herself in college.

[00:14:06] [SPEAKER_00] I remember that one.

[00:14:07] [SPEAKER_01] And he only told her after six months or a year that he had a foot fetish. And she broke up with him because she didn't want to be with a creepy guy. And that's where I came up with the karma rule of kink, which is if you break up with the honest foot fetishist, you will marry the dishonest necrophiliac. Right. Like, I think letting somebody go to town on your feet where GGG is concerned is the lowest of bars. Oh, absolutely. Take the foot rub. What would you say to her? I just said what I would say to her. What would you say to that woman?

[00:14:36] [SPEAKER_00] She was a fool. If that was the only issue, if that was the only issue, these men, so many of them I talked to, like I said, some of these VIPs who I've seen now several times as I've gone back to do it. And they are such kind people. A lot of them do have very good jobs. If that's socially awkward, they're probably on the spectrum. They could potentially be good partners for somebody if they could get past their awkwardness. And, you know, again, there's somebody for everybody. I do believe that. You know, again, I've seen it out in the kink world.

[00:15:07] [SPEAKER_00] So, you know, like if they just sort of like, oh, if they just took one more step, they might be able to get to, you know, an actual relationship. But, yeah, so for sure, if somebody has a foot fetish, you know, let them roll it out and, you know, be grateful if they want to rub on your feet. And then, again, if it's, you know, if you don't like them stuck in your toes because it tickles you, then say don't do that.

[00:15:28] [SPEAKER_01] So how many of these parties have you been to? And is this now a side hustle? How much money did you leave with at the end of your best night at one of these foot model parties?

[00:15:35] [SPEAKER_00] So, yeah, I've done it three times now. And I'm going to continue to do them because it's entertaining. And it's a little bit of side money. I make about $300 for just a couple, you know, a couple hours of sitting around and having somebody rub my feet. And it pays for my actual massages and my pedicures and, you know, a nice dinner out. That's crazy.

[00:15:55] [SPEAKER_01] And I know that a lot of my friends in Seattle when I first got here were strippers. And they would have to pay the club to strip and then try to make it back in tips. And ideally on a good night, they would make a lot more money. And so paying the house to be there was worth it. You didn't have to pay the house.

[00:16:13] [SPEAKER_00] No, you don't pay the house. They don't pay you either, but, you know, you only make what you make. So it's like you only want to go for an hour and you make $40 because you only talk to a couple of people. Then that's on you.
